Dr. Jamal Muqbil, Director of the Hattin Development Foundation, discusses the dimensions of security and stability in the success of humanitarian work and the transition towards sustainable development on the "Between the Lines" program.

Dr. Jamal Muqbil, Director of the Heteen Development Foundation, emphasized that security and stability are the cornerstones for ensuring the sustainability of humanitarian and service projects in Yemen. This came during his appearance on a special episode of the "Between the Lines" program on Saba TV, where he discussed the state's obligations to provide protection for the humanitarian community.

In his remarks, Dr. Muqbil pointed out that political reassurances directed at the international community and donors contribute directly to building strong strategic partnerships and encourage donors to move from emergency relief response to investing in infrastructure projects and vital sustainable sectors such as education, health, and water.

The Foundation Director also highlighted the direct developmental and economic impact of the stability of organizations, explaining that the flow of humanitarian funding contributes to revitalizing local markets, providing job opportunities, and stimulating the transportation and contracting sectors, thus benefiting all segments of society. In closing, Dr. Muqbil called on government agencies to facilitate fieldwork by unifying the channels for issuing official permits and adopting a "one-stop shop" mechanism. He emphasized that expediting administrative procedures contributes to saving lives and supports the efforts of civil society organizations in reaching the most vulnerable families and remote areas with high efficiency.
